Exhibition at Ghat Sandhya by Sadhana
“Ghat Sandhya” is an event initiated in Varanasi to encourage the emerging artists of the city by displaying their works in a two-day exhibition (for Fine Arts) or giving them a stage to perform (for Performing Arts). One of our artists Sadhana Kumari also had her paintings exhibited in the event and received great appraisal regarding her skills and creativity. Sadhana is pursuing Masters in Fine Arts at Banaras Hindu University and has struggled through her journey to study art as a professional.
Our art expert Sandeep Verma visited the exhibition to analyze the paintings as an artist and figure the scope of development for the artist. Sandeep says,” The artist is skilled and her artworks are appreciable, although there is a room for improvement in the concepts rendered in the paintings. There is an opportunity to play with textures, colors, and surfaces in print-making. Also, we get to see variegated mediums and subjects Sadhana has worked over which manifests her vast reach onto the different art forms and methods.”
