Buddha in Kashi

Team SHURUA(R)T along with a group of student artists visited Sarnath. The intent was to capture the serenity of the place where Lord Buddha gave his first sermon. The place marks the very thought of Buddhism, that beauty doesn't lie in being special..it's about being simple.

The ever calm Sarnath and the peaceful morning offered a perfect environment to the artists to come up with amazing ideas for their paintings. The participation was active, and the artists showed a lot of enthusiasm.

The Breakfast for the camp was sponsored by The Gateway Hotel , Ganges, Varanasi. The colors were sponsored by The Art Lounge (an art supplies company in Mumbai. We're very grateful to them to have made this a successful camp.
