Developing creativity among children is as important as being literate or healthy. It's important for the health of the brain, for the nourishment of the soul. Let's Start Art is an initiative by SHURUA(R)T to introduce these children to the world of colors and creativity.

Second time in a row, we witnessed the awe followed by admiration. In our latest sessions with kids studying at primary schools run by the government in Varanasi, we asked the kids to draw their pictures. 
Similar to our last session, when kids finished, teachers were competing amongst themselves to find out whose students had made the best drawing. Earlier, they were unsure whether anyone would draw. However, they were happy, in fact very happy to be wrong.

Team SHURUA(R)T along with Professor Suresh K. Nair Nair from Visual Arts Faculty, Banaras Hindu University, spent 2 hours with kids, full of awe, admiration and inspiration. We organized a workshop intended to give the students the very basics of art.
